AimsCraft is a 56-person clothing house based in Srinagar that buys cloth directly from Kashmiri hand looms and cuts and stitches it itself. We are hiring across sourcing, operations, technology and support. Roles on the ground are in Srinagar or Delhi NCR; technology and content roles can be remote within India.

How we work
Show the working
Cloth invoices, loom rates and margin structure are open to the team. If we cannot explain a decision plainly, it is probably the wrong decision.
Slow where it matters
We do not sell cloth we cannot trace to a loom, and we do not launch a piece to hit a quarter. The craft sets the calendar.
Craft over volume
We would rather sell less of something real. Every role here exists to protect that, including the engineering ones.

Do you hire remotely?
For technology and content roles, yes — anywhere in India, with a quarterly week in Srinagar that we pay for. Sourcing, quality and logistics roles are on the ground by necessity, because you cannot judge a weave or a shoulder seam over a video call.
What does the hiring process look like?
Four steps: a 20-minute intro call, a paid take-home task sized to about four hours, a craft interview with the team you would join, and a final conversation with a founder. We aim to go from first call to decision within 15 working days and we tell you either way.
Do you pay for the take-home task?
Yes, always. We pay ₹5,000 for the task regardless of whether we move forward, because asking for unpaid work is a bad way to start a relationship. If the task takes you materially longer than four hours, tell us — that means we scoped it badly.
What are the benefits?
Full health cover for you and your dependants, 24 days of leave plus public holidays, an annual learning budget of ₹40,000, subsidised transport within Srinagar, and a staff allowance on everything we sell. Artisan-facing roles include a winter clothing allowance.
